One of the things that helped me “click” with healthy eating was seeing how someone else did it.

I’m not talking about a made-up plan in a magazine, but a real-life example of a day’s worth of eating… exactly what they ate and when they ate it.

So that’s why I’ve decided to pull back the curtain and share my personal “day in the life” when it comes to food.

Something to keep in mind: this is what works for ME. I’m not suggesting you follow this!

I’m sharing it in hopes that it gets the wheels turning for YOU in finding a routine that fits your goals, schedule, and likes/dislikes.

So here we go! This is what I ate Tuesday-this is a somewhat busy day with classes, clients, field service and work around the house.

FIRST THING IN THE MORNING: I had some water, my doTERRA collagen and supplements. Black Coffee, Smoothie. (This is actually what I do every day of the week, including weekends!) Sometimes I add a hard boiled egg.

MORNING SNACK: Vietnamese Cinnamon Tea with fresh chopped veggies!

POSTWORKOUT/LUNCH: I tried this new recipe out the other day-deconstructed cabbage rolls. It’s a keeper! I’ll be sharing the recipe with whomever asks for it. 🙂 I made a massive pot of it, so that was lunch!

DINNER: Mediterranean Chicken and Cauliflower Rice. ( I had this prepped, so all I needed to do was put it in the fridge the night before to start thawing.) I Baked this and steamed the cauliflower rice with fresh garlic. Small glass of red wine, piece of my chocolate cake that is made with no flour of any kind and 1 tbsp of maple syrup. Want the recipe? Let me know. It’s a hit with everyone!

As you can see, a lot of this was prepped ahead of time with minimal effort. And then minimal effort was needed to put it together. I try to keep things as simple and easy as possible!

Because just like you, I struggle with having enough time to actually eat my meals, much less make one from scratch every few hours.
